, MAKASSAR – An online taxi driver, Taufik (32) became a victim of theft by violence (Curas). This he experienced around 01.00 a.m. on Wednesday (07/18/2018) early morning.

Initially the victim received orders on Jalan Dirgantara. Then the victim followed the order based on GPS, then after being at the point of order, the victim contacted the order owner and said that he was at the pickup location.

But the ordering of the order actually said that he was on Jalan Paropo 2, so the victim turned to the direction in question.

Unlucky for the victim, when he passed in front of hallway 9, suddenly appeared from behind the perpetrators totaling 4 people who rode 2 motorcycles directly flanking the victim’s car and breaking the windshield.

Head of Panakkukang District Police Public Relations, confirmed that Bripka Ahmad Halim confirmed the existence of Curas with the mode of pretending to order online taxis by the perpetrators.

According to Ahmad Halim, the perpetrators managed to carry off a victim’s cellphone and take the victim’s car key, so that the victim’s car was turned off.

“The perpetrators also hit the victim once,” said Birpka Ahmad.

As expected, Halim said, the order owner had planned the action. Because the incident, the victim who tried to contact the ordering of the order was no longer active.

Now this case has been dealt with seriously by the Panakkukang Police Sector in order to uncover the crimes of the perpetrators.
