TRIBUNNEWS.COM, DENPASAR – Hundreds of masses who are a group of conventional drivers incorporated in Bali Transport United (BTB) came to the Governor’s Office of Bali, Denpasar, Bali Wednesday (01/08/2020) afternoon.
The arrival of the masses was to escort 12 of their colleagues who were invited to meet by Bali Governor Wayan Koster to ask for clarity about the existence of online taxis.
After the meeting took place, the mass was met by the Head of the Bali Provincial Transportation Agency I Gede Wayan Samsi Gunarta.
With Samsi Gunarta, the masses were given explanations that The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of Bali has been fighting for conventional taxis in Bali.
The Provincial Government of Bali, he said, had submitted two Governor Regulations (Pergub) to the Ministry of the Interior (Ministry of Home Affairs), but they had not yet been approved.
Therefore, Samsi asked drivers to be patient and fight together related to online taxi restrictions.
