SURYA.co.id | SURABAYA – Wanting to get a quick profit instead of bringing an online female driver named Indrawati to court. Together with his girlfriend, Federick Thenady, who is also an online driver, both were charged with making fictitious orders with the threat of layered articles.

At the inaugural session at the Surabaya PN, the two lovebirds were presented together even though the case files were split.

During the trial, Indrawati and Fhederick only looked at the Public Prosecutor (JPU) when reading the indictment. Occasionally this bespectacled woman bowed while listening to the charges.

Whereas in the trial, JPU Muhammad Nizar outlined the charges in a concise manner. The two defendants were charged with making a fictitious order to get a bonus on this online motorcycle taxi.

“The two defendants were threatened with crimes in Article 35 in conjunction with Article 51 Paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 19/2016 concerning Information on Electronic Transactions,” he explained before a panel of judges chaired by East Pradoko, Monday (07/09/2018).

This case began on Monday, March 26, 2018 at around 13:30 WIB, the indrawati defendant was visited by East Java Regional Police V. Ditreskrimsus Subdistrict officers on Jalan Raya Manyar Gresik.

At that time the police arrested Indrawati, who, along with her boyfriend, Fhederick, was in a Toyota Calya car with the L-1964-TD license, which was known to be fictionally ordering orders from online taxi services.

The police then searched the defendant’s car and found evidence such as 10 cellphones with a fictional driver account, and two wifi modems.

“The police also confiscated two ATM cards used to receive bonuses from Grab, after making the fictitious order,” he said.

In the indictment, the two defendants carried out fictitious passenger orders since last June 2017.

They make a fictitious order to get the bonus given by the Grab company, provided that if they get 10 trips or ten times running orders from passengers within 5.00 am to 24.00 WIB, they will get a bonus / incentive of IDR 120,000.

After hearing the prosecutor’s charges, the two defendants through their attorneys chose not to file an exception and continue the trial process.
