TRIBUNNEWS.COM, YOGYAKARTA – PT Sarana Multi Financial (SMF) is collaborating with Grab Indonesia to expand KPR access through the SMF-Grab KPR Program for GrabCar drivers.
SMF President Director Ananta Wiyogo said, KPR SMF-Grab is channeled through a finance company that works with SMF.
“This program offers mortgage products that have a fixed interest rate throughout the tenor, so that the value of the debtor’s installment obligations is stable during the financing period,” he said in Yogyakarta, last night.
Ananta explained, this product was not affected by the fluctuation in interest rates, so as to provide certainty in installments for its debtors.
Meanwhile, as many as 52 drivers were declared to meet KPR criteria until October 2019 out of 400 people who registered in the SMF-Grab KPR Expo activities.
“This program is expected to provide an opportunity for Grab Indonesia partners to obtain decent and affordable housing, as well as open up new potential for KPR dealers,” said Ananta.
Ananta further added, that the collaboration between SMF, Grab and the finance company is committed to the community to get equal rights in getting decent and affordable housing.
“So far realizing home ownership for those who are included in the segment of society that does not have a salary slip or non-permanent income has its own challenges, “he concluded.
In addition, SMF has also cooperated with PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) or PNM regarding the financing of decent and affordable housing for PNM employees spread throughout Indonesia.
The cooperation was outlined in the signing of the MoU conducted on October 18, 2019.
