TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – PT Express Transindo Utama Tbk (TAXI) is currently developing its taxi booking application. The company claims that it is developing applications so that later taxi bookings can be made through the customer’s smartphone.

Megawati Affan, Director of PT Express Transindo Utama Tbk, said that the application will be launched in the near future. Unfortunately, he did not disclose how much investment was disbursed to develop the application.

“So maybe soon (launching), like ordering through the apps we are working on it again. The hope is (launching) this year, “he said in Jakarta on Friday (06/08/2018).

In addition to working on the application itself, the company will also collaborate with one of the online taxi applicators.

Actually, the company already has a partnership with Uber, but due to the acquisition of Uber by Grab, the company will re-do the exploration.

“So, we previously cooperated with Uber, but because it was sold to Grab, now we are again repeating to talk and discussion again, because Uber is right now,” he continued.

There is no target when the cooperation will be established, which clearly historically has collaborated with Uber and hopes that it will be able to cooperate with Grab.

The company also has not looked at cooperation with other online taxi applicators.
