TEMPO.CO , Kuta – Grab transportation application provider company cooperates with Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Management Cooperative (Kophrindo) to establish a passenger pick-up place at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali.
“This facility is to facilitate the meeting of our driver partners with customers who use Grabcar services when they arrive in Bali,” said Director of Indonesian Grab Ridzki Kramadibrata at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Tuban, Kuta, Badung Regency, Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
The meeting point was established in the area of domestic arrivals of the local airport after cooperating with Kophrindo I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport which has been established since December 2017.
In the green and white outlets, tourists can immediately order vehicles to get to their vacation destinations and visit Grab’s “booth” to meet the driver’s partners.
“We hope that the presence of these outlets can help support transportation infrastructure at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport while providing more choices of transportation modes for tourists,” said Kophrindo Weri Sulasmiaty.
Based on MasterCard Index of Global Destination Cities 2017 data, Southeast Asia continues to grow to be the main destination for tourists from all over the world.
The presence of Grab in 196 cities throughout Southeast Asia makes Grab the leading transportation application that facilitates the activities of tourists in the region, especially as the service company has now acquired a similar company, Uber.
Currently, the Grab application has been downloaded by more than 90 million mobile devices by giving passengers access to more than five million partner drivers and agent partners.
