tirto.id – The Online Driver Association (ADO) proposes several things in the formulation of regulations in lieu of the Minister of Transportation Regulation (Permenhub) No. 108 of 2017 concerning Special Rental Transportation Operations or Online Transportation, carried out by the Ministry of Transportation.

The results of the annex of Permenhub include 4 articles received by the Supreme Court (MA), which are related to the marking in the license plate or Motor Vehicle Number (TNKB), the problem of lower and upper limit tariffs, restrictions on operating areas, and quota limits for each province.

ADO Secretary General, Wiwit Sudarsono said first, that his party firmly refused the marking of TNKB on vehicles because the automatic drivers had to replace the number plates and vehicle registration.

Second, related to ADO’s lower and upper limit rates strongly agree to apply this. Wiwit said the lower limit tariff to protect drivers so that operational costs were met, while the upper limit tariffs to protect consumers so that during rush hour or pick hours prices did not soar.

The lowest tariff ADO proposes IDR 5,000 per kilometer (Km) and the highest tariff is IDR 10,000 per Km. However, he expects that there is a minimum meter under 5 Km, IDR 25 thousand.

“So there is no meter Rp. 12 thousand, Rp. 15 thousand. Far near Rp. 25 thousand. So far, the distance of 3 Km is Rp. 14 thousand in Grab or in Gocar. There is also a tariff of Rp. 9 thousand. he said.

He admitted that it would certainly be more expensive, but he said it was for the sake of a healthy business competition, such as bajaj or other public transportation.
