Merdeka.com – Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi invited the community of Brawijaya to participate in providing solutions to Indonesia’s transportation problems. One of them is the problem of online taxis.
“Brawijaya University with 60 thousand students needs to be explored and given the opportunity to think about things that are experienced. Because now, if we are honest, we are deterred by online taxis,” said Minister Budi Karya Sumadi in Universitas Brawijaya (UB) on Saturday (20 / 10).
“We cannot anticipate how to do it. If we make start-up part of what we want to do, it can be anticipated. I am sure that friends of Arek Malang have a passion for doing good and better,” he continued.
Minister Budi said that for 35 years of work, he had received a lot of input from young people. Minister Budi conveyed how start up must be collaborated and supported so that it becomes a solution for daily work.
“The Ministry of Transportation has a lot of tasks to walk, make odd numbers, some things make decisions. It’s a condition with thoughts that must be made more systematically. The icon is efficient, it’s digital,” he said.
Minister Budi attended the XXI Symposium and Workshop on the Inter-University Transportation Study Forum (FSTPT) 2018. The event held by the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (UB) Malang took the theme Integration of Regional and City Transportation Supporting Sustainable Tourism Development.
