BANDUNG, (PR) .- Head of Bandung City Satpol PP Dadang Iriana asks online transportation drivers to maintain public order by not parking carelessly. If it remains stubborn, the Satpol PP will not hesitate to give strict sanctions.

“Although the presence of the community is needed, but still do not hurt public order. If it is still stubborn, we will coordinate with the police to give decisive action,” Dadang iriana said in an interview broadcast by Radio PRFM, Monday, July 16 2018.

He stated, the appeal applies to online taxi drivers and online motorcycle taxis. If they park on the shoulder of the road to cause traffic jams or taps on the sidewalk, according to Regional Regulation No. 11 of 2005, the Satpol PP has the right to enforce.

“If they park on the sidewalk, the location that is not intended for parking, will be dealt with. We confiscated the residence card to the vehicle and could be charged a forced fee of Rp. 250,000,” Dadang Iriana said.

He stated, the area that is often used as a place to tackle online transportation drivers is around Jalan Merdeka, Jalan Purnawarman, Jalan Braga, and Jalan Solontongan. In order not to disturb public order, Satpol PP together with the Transportation Office of the City of Bandung will place officers in the area.

“We have coordinated with the Department of Transportation to plot the officers so that no one taps carelessly,” he said.

In addition, Dadang Iriana stated, Satpol PP would also send a letter to the taxi taxi and online motorcycle taxi application managers to provide supervision and appeal to their partners not to commit violations.

“We send it to the company to oversee its partners,” Dadang Iriana said.
