JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Online taxi passengers in this case Go-Car will get insurance when using the special rental transportation services.
This happened after the signing of a joint agreement between Jasa Raharja and Go-Jek regarding the Cooperation of Passenger Accident Mandatory Insurance Funds. The signing of the cooperation was carried out directly by Jasa Raharja President Director Budi Rahardjo and Go-Jek Co-Founder Kevin Aluwi.
“Through this collaboration, Jasa Raharja can provide a guarantee of protection if online Go-Car transport users experience accidents while on the road,” Budi said in Jakarta on Friday (7/19/2019).
Budi said, later Jasa Raharja will provide compensation funds of Rp 50 million for passengers who died and Rp 20 million for maximum maintenance costs due to accidents. The premium charged by passengers for this insurance coverage is Rp. 60 per person.
“So that online transportation users who experience an accident, will get assurance of a secure status quickly,” said Budi.
Meanwhile, Co-Founder Go-Jek Kevin Aluwi added, not only will the passengers be covered by Jasa Raharja’s insurance.
“Insurance protection provided by Jasa Raharja, protecting not only passengers, but also Go-Car driver partners for various risks that occur during the trip,” Kevin said.
